Our practice, established in Park Slope in 1985, recently reached its 25th anniversary. Although we are now beginning to see the children of our children, we continue to innovate not only by looking for new ways to improve our services, but keeping our patients informed of new options for staying healthy. Our emphasis on a close patient-doctor relationship may be old style, but our approach to medicine remains sensitive to the dynamic environment that frequently offers new opportunities to improve care.

Like traditional pediatric practices, we care for newborns, toddlers, school-aged children, adolescents, and post-adolescents up to the age of 22 years. Unlike traditional pediatric practices, we shape services for individualized, age-appropriate care. To the degree possible, we group sick visits, and schedule well-child examinations during periods when there is adequate time to consider the whole child. We reserve a specific adolescent-only period in our schedule so that teenagers can be assured confidential care apart from younger children. Although the child is our patient, our goal is a collaborative relationship with the parent who can rely on us for complete answers on all aspects of optimal development.

Our doctors are all board certified. We have admitting privileges at New York University Medical Center and Long Island College Hospital. Over the years we have developed a collaborative relationship with specialists in a broad array of disciplines. Our telephone is always answered. Our office is open six days a week with hours designed to meet the needs of school-attending children and working parents.
